Keep your personal information private

Do not include your home address, personal email address, financial information, workplace details, or other sensitive information in your public introduction.

If you decide to meet someone, only share the information that is reasonably needed.

Photos stay private

Profile photos are not public. You decide if and when you want to share a photo with another member.

You control who can contact you

You can choose which countries you are willing to receive responses from. Contact restrictions are enforced through the platform.

Take your time

There is no need to rush. Get to know someone through conversation before sharing personal information or arranging a meeting.

Important

Never send money

Do not send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, banking information, or financial documents to someone you have met through PostedLove.

Be cautious if someone asks for money because of an emergency, travel problem, medical situation, investment opportunity, ticket purchase, or similar reason.

Watch for suspicious behaviour

Be careful if someone:

  • Refuses reasonable verification.
  • Quickly asks to move communication away from PostedLove.
  • Gives inconsistent information.
  • Pressures you to share private details.
  • Asks for money or financial help.
  • Makes unrealistic promises very quickly.
  • Becomes threatening, abusive, or controlling.

In person

Meeting in Person

When meeting someone for the first time:

  • Meet in a public place.
  • Arrange your own transportation.
  • Tell a trusted friend or family member where you are going and who you are meeting.
  • Let them know approximately when you expect to return.
  • Keep your phone charged and with you.
  • Do not feel pressured to stay if you are uncomfortable.
  • Avoid sharing your home address or other unnecessary personal information.

Join Me

Meeting Someone Through Join Me

Join Me is designed for meeting someone at an event, activity, dinner, concert, museum, festival, exhibition, or other outing.

When using Join Me:

  • Tell someone you trust that you are meeting a person from PostedLove.
  • Tell them the event location, date, and approximate time.
  • If possible, share the name or PostedLove profile of the person you are meeting.
  • Meet at the event venue or another public place rather than at your home.
  • Arrange your own transportation to and from the event.
  • Keep control of your own ticket, money, phone, identification, and belongings.
  • Each person should normally pay their own costs unless both have clearly agreed otherwise beforehand.
  • Do not feel obligated to pay for the other person’s ticket, food, drinks, transport, or other expenses.
  • A phone number may be exchanged if needed to find or contact each other at the event, but you do not need to share additional personal information.
  • Avoid giving your home address, financial information, workplace details, passwords, or other sensitive information.
  • Keep your drink with you. Do not leave it unattended when going to the toilet, dancing, or leaving the table.
  • If you leave a drink unattended, do not continue drinking from it.
  • Be cautious about accepting open drinks from someone you do not yet know.
  • Stay aware of how much alcohol you consume and remain able to make your own decisions.
  • If something feels wrong, leave the situation. You do not owe the other person an explanation or additional time.

After the Meeting

You decide whether you want further contact.

If you do not wish to continue communicating, you may stop responding, archive the conversation, or block the member.

Report serious or suspicious behaviour to PostedLove so it can be reviewed.

You can block another member at any time.

If you see suspicious, abusive, misleading, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour, use the Report option so our moderation team can review it.

Verification

PostedLove may offer verification features to help members confirm information such as identity, age, or country.

A verification badge can increase confidence, but it is not a guarantee of someone’s character, intentions, or honesty.

If something does not feel right, end the conversation or leave the meeting and report the account if appropriate.
